Our commitment to the Cargo
Community

Logistics requires the involvement of a vast number of operators whose successive roles and actions constitute what is commonly called the supply chain.

The chain's performance relies on each party's ability to more effectively incorporate the requirements of the other parties operating up- and/or downstream of their scope of intervention

Uniting the cargo community at Europe’s number one hub

Groupe ADP plays a fundamental role here, acting as community manager and integrator, rallying support, promoting and organising exchanges, and developing synergies and resources to improve efficiency and competitiveness.

The aim of all this is to meet the expectations of the customers, importers and exporters whose goods pass through our facilities.

Under this community spirit, ADP organises events such as:

- The Annual Cargo Forum
- The Monthly Cargo Community
- The FOD walk in the cargo area

But the supply chain doesn't stop at the airport gates

Because the supply chain doesn't stop at the airport gates, there is a drive to extend the notion of community to the other airports in its network around the world. (Link to ADP international: A network of airports in France and abroad - Groupe ADP (parisaeroport.fr))

Lastly, Groupe ADP plays a major role within the ACFA, an association created in 2017 to promote the air cargo business in France and fly the flag for the French republic.

Innovating to boost cargo competitiveness

We are actively promoting the expansion of e-freight, with notable support from IATA (International Air Transport Association). As part of this innovative approach, Groupe ADP and CIN France (Cargo Information Network) have developed the "Cargo Community System" (CCS), which enables freight operations at the airport to be tracked while optimising compliance with customs regulations and security and safety obligations. The fact that 305 companies have already signed up is testament to its success.
